Types of bathroom lighting
If you are looking for more traditional bathroom lighting styles, we have a fantastic selection of antique and vintage fittings that can be converted to bathroom safe lighting upon request.
Alternatively, our skilled bespoke design team can create a completely custom design for the bathroom space you are looking to light. Stand out from the rest with a bathroom light made for you.
IP Rated bathroom lights
When lighting a bathroom there are some rules that you need to adhere to. For your safety and to keep your light in the best condition, you need to ensure your bathroom light fittings are in the correct zone for the fitting type. Zones 0 and 1 are the most regulated zones when it comes to safety, and describe an area that will either be submerged in water or is directly above the bath or shower.
We don’t have any standard lighting suitable for zones 0 and 1. However, all of our lighting for bathrooms is suitable for zones 2 and 3 (at least 60cm from a water source).
LED lights for the bathroom
Visually, our bathroom lights don’t look too dissimilar to our standard IP20 lighting collection. The only visual difference is that the LED G9 bulb is encased in a glass capsule, which is necessary to protect the light from moisture.
As standard, our LED lights for the bathroom come complete with an LED G9 bulb.
Small Bathroom lighting Ideas
Bathrooms can vary in size, from large to small. Small bathroom lighting is something we are pretty good at! We have a selection of fixtures such as the Pixley contemporary bathroom wall light which features a smaller glass shade, as well as fittings with a smaller projection, like our flush fitting Grafton bathroom light. These are perfect for bathrooms where space is at a premium, but where style and beauty are not going to be sacrificed.
