Côte Brasserie is a well known chain of high street restaurants. They are extremely popular for their delicious French-style food, with restaurants spread across the UK – some of which feature our lighting! This particular Côte Brasserie can be found in London, not far from our Clerkenwell showroom!

Less than a 20 minute walk away from our showroom in London, Côte Brasserie, St. Paul’s features a selection of handmade lighting from our contemporary collections. This gorgeous modern interior benefits from the soft illumination of Fritz Fryer lights.

We were approached by Fileturn, an Interior Design firm offering high end interiors for well known companies such as Cote Brasserie. The team at Fileturn browsed our collections and found the fixtures they thought would enhance the space the most. In total they requested 10 pendant lights, consisting of a mixture of XL sized ribbed and clear Hereford globes, as well as XL ribbed Ledburys. All of the contemporary glass shades were featured on antique brass and dark brown pendant sets, which perfectly complimented the interior Fileturn had created. The pendants were specified at custom lengths, ranging from our standard 1m to 3m. The building included some recesses within the ceilings, so the differing lengths of pendant cables accounted for this.

At the front of the building, large windows catch the gorgeous sunlight as it shines on a summers day, making it the ideal space to install ribbed glass shades. The interesting handmade shade texture of the ribbed glass refracts the natural light creating a bewitching look. When the sun sets and the sunlight through the window fades, a warm glow is emitted from the bulbs and delicately shines through the glass, aiding a lovely dining ambience.
