Modern Lighting

Modern lights are an effective way of enhancing the atmosphere. However, selecting the right size can be crucial to achieving this.

Incorporating large modern light fixtures into narrow hallways can feel overpowering, taking up some much-needed space. Alternatively, illuminating a large wall area with a small wall light may not provide enough light, causing the fitting to look lost.

It is also important to take ceiling heights into consideration. If you have high ceilings, you may want to include larger fittings that will illuminate the space efficiently and fill the space.

It is a great idea, when choosing modern lighting, to understand how and where it will be positioned. If it will be positioned to illuminate artwork, it is important to find a modern light which offers concentrated, directional light.

Consider the purpose of the light. Will it be used as practical illumination, or a decorative light? 

In areas such as living rooms, lighting may often be included to create and enhance an atmosphere. A modern light fitting, paired with a warm colour temperature bulb, can help to form an inviting living space.
