What You will need to do at this stage:

• Review the initial concept which has been shared to you by our designers, and provide feedback with any adjustments.
• Approve the next steps

Design Time: Please note, at this stage any refinements and changes will incur design time charges, this will allow us to tailor every detail to perfection.

What you will get from this: Our team will present you a lighting design and a proforma invoice, which has taken into account all of your refinements you have requested. Your light will now be ready for the production stage.

Overview: This is where our on-site workshop will start bringing your bespoke lighting to life with precision craftsmanship.

What happens in this stage:

• We will require a deposit which will secure your lights’ place in the production queue.
• Our workshop & design team will work closely together to ensure every detail of your lighting design is executed flawlessly.
•  Our designers will provide you with regular updates and keep you informed throughout the process.

What you will get from this: You will get a custom made light fitting crafted to your exact specifications.

Overview: Congratulations this is the final step of your bespoke lighting journey!

On a simpler scale bespoke lighting can mean adapting or customising an existing light fitting to suit your tastes and needs. For example, you can tailor any of our contemporary light fittings to match the style and feel of your home or commercial space.

Here we have a ready-made solution that might just help! Our ready-made Cluster light collection gives you the ability to some extent create a bespoke light fixture, with the option to select the quantity of lights you need, the glass shade shape, finish and even choose from some already pre-set lengths closest to what you require for your space. These too can be customised more than that is on offer, but this will then become  a bespoke light and will increase the cost. Explore the options here.

​​Bespoke lighting is rarely the cheapest option, so if you are looking to save money by asking for a version of an existing light you’ve seen elsewhere, this probably isn’t the service for you.  

However, bespoke lights don’t have to be expensive, our lighting designers can work with you to create something unique within your budget. The cost of bespoke design can vary dramatically depending on various factors including:

• The amount of designer’s time needed
• The complexity of the design
• The materials used
• The location
• Available installation options (is there access to a roof void?, is there a lantern box? etc)
• Overall size of installation, ie overall cluster drop.

Bear in mind that when we design a product for our contemporary range, the cost to create it is less per unit, because the cost of the parts and the design time are spread over multiple units.

If you are looking for something unique on a lower budget, our ready-made cluster lights offer a bespoke look and feel at a fraction of the cost of a totally new design.

No at all, this might be the exact reason why you need a bespoke light fitting! No matter how big or small your home may be, our design team can work closely with you to create a light fitting with your space in mind.

The question is where can’t you use bespoke lighting?

Within the first stages of your bespoke design, our team will understand the purpose of the light and where it is going to be situated, for example if it is intended for use in the bathroom we can provide you with an IP44 rated solution

This is a tough question, this all depends on multiplier factors such as: The complexity of the design, the size of the fitting, materials used and how many of our trusted suppliers are involved. Once we have had our Initial meeting with you and we have understood what you are after. Our team can provide you with an accurate lead time.

Because it is made especially to you, we cannot refund bespoke lighting.  We will require a deposit of 50% or more of the total cost of the design for it to proceed and join the production queue.

We work extremely closely with you to make sure your light is exactly what you are hoping for and throughout the process we keep you up to date with any design changes, providing you with a clear understanding throughout of what you are going to receive.  We don’t proceed to production without confirmation from you that you are happy with the design.

However, if upon completion of the project you were unhappy with your bespoke light, it is non refundable, as it is made especially for you.  We would work with you to try and make any adjustments to the design that you wanted, but this would incur additional charges for design time and work completed.
