How to choose wall lights?
Choosing a wall light that best suits your space is vital to the overall look of your home. There are many styles to choose from when it comes to wall lighting, so how do you choose the best one for you?
We have an incredible collection to get your inspiration going. From elegant swan neck wall lights to practical wall mounted reading lights, discover your perfect fitting with us.
Antique & Vintage
Like all our hand restored lighting, antique and vintage lights can add a unique quality to a space. Often they are intricate pieces and sometimes they can be a rare find! While this is fantastic, it can also be its downfall. The nature of antique and vintage lighting means it is sometimes difficult to find matching sets, which are often sought after when lining a wall with wall lighting.
However, do not fear, because there are many occasions when our team source and restore sets of antique and vintage wall fittings.
Glass wall lights
Our range of handmade glass wall lights allow you the flexibility to choose the perfect lighting for you, with no boundaries. You are given the choice of style, finish, fitting, and glass shade to design the ideal wall light for your space.

Where should wall lights be placed?
To save yourself a huge amount of work in the future, wall lighting should be planned during the early stages of creating a lighting scheme. Where you place your wall light is important. Typically, the top of the wall light fitting should be at eye level, as this helps reduce glare. This is roughly 1.80m from the floor, however, this does depend on ceiling heights and room layouts.
While deciding where your fitting will be placed, it is important to consider its purpose. Positioning your wall lighting over a kitchen worktop can provide plenty of light for preparing food. Alternatively, they can be great for aesthetic purposes. A picture wall light above a painting can bring ample attention to your art, while bouncing ambient light around the room.
